The first part of preparing a meal involves going to the grocery store with clients. Mary's Caring Hands realizes that nutrition is crucial to health and happiness, ensuring that clients eat a nutritious meal. Caregivers like to encourage clients to be a part of the meal preparation, as part of their home health care. Since clients generally enjoy helping out with the responsibilities of cooking a home-cooked meal, caregivers encourage participation in this process. A caregiver from Mary's Caring Hands can also assist clients with feeding responsibilities, if a client is unable to feed themselves. During mealtime, caregivers are more than happy to lend an ear and listen to clients, encouraging social interaction. After dinner, caregivers work side-by-side with clients when washing dishes and performing cleanup responsibilities.

Every person that represents Mary's Caring Hands has a minimum of 1-year experience with in-home care. Criminal background checks are performed on all caregivers. Credentials are verified, professional references are obtained, and in-home care orientation is completed before our staff is allowed to enter your home. Finally, a compassion assessment is performed on each staff member to ensure alignment with our company philosophy.

Mary Valentine started Mary's Caring Hands because she truly believes that people should be able to feel the compassion in your hands.
Mary has decades of experience in healthcare.
She is experienced in Medical Billing/Registration, and is a Certified Nursing Assistant, Medication Administration Technician, Mental Health Specialist and Previously Served as Director of a Home for people with Special Needs.
Mary Truly cares about caring for others.
